I guess it depends on what you mean by evolve. A lot of people, especially religious people, take it as a dirty word.
Not me, though. I think the reason we are here on earth is spiritual evolution AND I think we evolve physically as a species. Life is movement and change. It is always striving to be its best, whether on a physical or spiritual level. I think humans have the potential to evolve into a peaceful species but we may blow ourselves up or poison our habitat before we get there. Species that don't live in balance with their habitats die out or destroy themselves. So the question I would ask is not are we evolving but are we evolving fast enough to survive our own species?

That is an opinion and you're entitled to it but, I personally do not believe that man is evolving, if we were, wouldn't we be changing for the better, ie the fish who comes out of the water and learns to walk or the animal that learns to stand on two feet to reach for something better. Evolution should better humanity but instead, mankind is rapidly deteriorating in morals and standards. Where is the lust for life? Why are people destroying the earth and each other?

Its not that easy for many. Its hard to tell someone they're wrong, when they grew up thinking something else. I personally think if we have no knowledge of divinity or flat out just naturalism I didn't think we can say whats wrong and right. Although I have to say, recent studies about the universe are leaving some theologians shaken. I see science growing but I'm also seeing some disturbing things in some religious texts that are happening as we speak.

We are but if you look back through evolution it goes in fits and starts. Same with science, there will be a break through that suddenly opens up a whole new area. Personally at the moment I think we're in an inbetween zone where nothing is changing quickly.

"Life is not an eternal search for God: Life is an Eternal Expression of God."
What do you think of this statement? Moreover, the level of evolution that we have achieved so far only shows us how far we can truly reach. Existence is God experiencing God’s self through us and all of life. We are individual, unique, divine, aspects of the whole seeing itself through our different perspectives. This is the essence of life, to experience all things in all ways and to expand to undreamed of levels of awareness and creativity. So my main question is this. Should we not unleash ourselves from our own self-contained ideology and rhetoric and understand the unlimited nature of the universe which is God? So yes, you could call this Evolution!

Yes, the meaning is quite simple... but.... may not be really easy... it takes a lot to really evolve, with all the 'innate' & natural animal instincts 'popping' up incessently !

Yes, we are evolving, however, there is also the capacity for devolving within the structure/parameters of an evolving species.

To me too, it is quite simple though a bit different from what you say.
I believe, to evolve is a compulsion of life. Meaning of life is simply living...... comprising all aspects of thoughts, imagination, emotions and actions. Purpose is to improve living and defer death.

What you should be asking yourself is: Is there such a thing as LOVE?
Surly LOVE has no need of evolution?
Love is the highest truth there is and all other things are relative to that truth!
