Google in the "Times University Guide", you should find a league table.
The best universities in London would be LSE, Imperial College and UCL.

Depends on what you want to study? But let me tell you from a person who's been there, done that. It doesn't matter what uni you go to, it's the people you meet there that make the memories special!!! Good luck in whatever you want to do

it really depends on what you want to study.. but make sure you go to the open days of unis you might want to apply to, so you can decide if it's a place you would like to study!

I think you should check The Times University Guide ( http://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,716,00.html )
or http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/rank/2006/ARWU2006_TopEuro.htm for Top European Universities.
If you want to know stuff about what the mood is like, check The Virgin Alternative Guide to British Universities :D
