I'm no expert, but commonsense tells me it would depend on what sort of modelling you are doing. If the stretchmarks are visible, can they be concealed? If it's live work, makeup doesnt cover everything, but it may for some. If its photowork there are other tools that will make them vanish.

OM Gosh did you see Heidi Klum a couple of weeks after she had her baby and was going down the runway in a skimpy Santa suit with her tummy out?? She looked like she was holding an accordian in front of her she was so wrinkled and full of stretch marks. That's the reason she was the co-host of the Victoria Secret Fashion so and not actually modeling. People complained about the view making them ill. Alittle discoloration is not a big deal and they can do alot with pancake make up. Most everything in print is airbrushed anyway and if you didn't see Tyra Banks come out on the Oprah Show all-natural, you missed the best. I think it was that day that I stopped worrying about every little mark on myself. lol

Models get paid for their appearance. A lot of people have stretch marks, and I imagine some models may have a few of them too, but stretch marks aren't going to make it any easier for you to be a model. It's like asking "Do models have wrinkles?" Well, maybe the older supermodels, but the young ones are generally wrinkle and stretch mark-free.

Four words: Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Whenever they are about to go out on the runmway, they are dusted and dusted with bronzer. Not only does it make them look tan, it's makeup so it covers flaws. They also have body makeup that has more staying power. And lastly, most people don't even notice them.
