The doctor is worried that she hasn't dropped that maybe my pelvic opening is too small for a baby, she is only weighing 7lbs on the ultrasound I just had done. So the doctor said she's not big by any means. Is it still possible for the baby to drop once labor begins? They are going to induce me on Tuesday if she doesn't come on her own before then. I'm at a -2 station and been there for a while but she's not going any lower. Help please?!

My first child never did drop fully, I went into labor (on my due date) and the doctor could not break my water because of the risk of the cord coming first (before the baby) I only got to 5cm's before they decided to do my c-section. I am a tiny girl and my body just didn't have room for the baby down there... I ended up having a c-section (which was great for me-very fast recovery) It's nothing to worry about and if they need to, they'll just do a c-section, it's no big deal. I am pregnant again and hoping to have another c-section because the first one worked out so well.

well my due date was Oct. 26 2004 and near the end of the pregnancy, they pushed my due date back to Sept.29 2004. It was already in October. They said my son kept on growing way too fast. So I was 1 1/2 week of carrying my son in me. I was 41 1/2 weeks pregnant. So it's not okay for the baby in be in that long, but don't worry the baby will come, and that's all you'll have to worry about. If the baby will not come out vaginally, than by a c-section.

first babies sometimes are late. doctors don't always give you the due date right. some get it right but not all the time. everything will be fine. I know it is scary because this is your first. mother of three adults. the youngest is 25 born at home, not planned. he was in a hurry

3 days past a due date is not late. Due dates are just estimates.

Is that what happened to your last generation? You were all dropped? That explains a lot....
