i want to clean my hard disk with all the types of files and tracks how can i do this for free i mean some erasers are available but they are costly so how can i erase of files from the hard disk for free?

use windows xp installer.

You have a couple of options...
Start/Programs/Accessories/SystemTools/Disk Cleanup
That'll get rid of some things.
Download CCleaner. It's free, recommended by MaximumPC and I have used it for over a year on my work and home computers with NO problem at all. You can customize how much cleaning you want to do... but it has never let me down.

u ll have to do disk defragmentation...
go to START then PROGRAMS and ACCESSORIES and then SYSTEM TOOLS and then DISK DEFRAGMENTER... defragment all the drives and u ll get some free space... its better that u start it at night as it takes a lot of time to complete.. u can close it in the morning.... U can delete all the unnecessary files by doing DISK CLEANUP which is also there in ACCESSORIES...
