This is my first pregnancy and my mom and friends are having a baby shower for me and i am very thankful but i will be 34 weeks is this the normal time? Or is it too late/ early?

Always nice to have your shower in advance. That way you can get things put away and "ready" for the baby. I think 34 weeks is a fine time.

You might be very uncomfortable at the shower that late.. see if they will move it to 28 weeks.. that is the 7 month your showing but not feeling too miserable and you can eat some of the cake at your own party. When your 9 months you could have the baby before the shower or you won't be able to eat or enjoy the party at all cause you will be so tired.

It's a little late, but that's okay! Usually they're done at around 6-7 months, but it's really up to you. Have FUN!! It's so exciting to get all that baby stuff...then it's so scary to think of where you will PUT it all! LOL

I had mine during my 7th month. You want to make sure that you have enough time to get things that you havent though. Remember, you baby could come early. both of mine were 37 weeks. Best of luck to you and your baby

I think it's nice to have it a little late because then you pretty much know what you already have and your friends/family can just fill in the gaps. Congrats :)

We usually do them pretty late. 34 weeks is fine.

usually done around 7 months with my son thats when i had mine...but with my daughter i had it 4 days before she was born i guess its whatever time is best for u but you dont want to wait too long in case u go into labor...congrats!!

anytime is fine after you find out the sex of the baby.
