I do not understand your problems. See whether you can talk to your wife and sort out things. Why should there be violence?

Why doesn't she stop it???
Maybe she's scared.
She's messed up, from pass things that happened to her.
Maybe she has unforgiven, hurt and anger that she hasn't dealt with and doesn't know how to deal with.

Why does anyone stay in an abusive relationship???
I think people get confused between love and compassion.
I was in an abusive relationship.
Usually the person is truly sorry about what has happened, and you feel sorry for them.
You know they don't mean to or what to be the way they are.
But that doesn't make it right and it doesn't mean that you love that person.

If you're married, which you are.
Try and get help for her.
Help her through this.
Don't think that you're less of a man for having this happen to you. It could happen to anyone.

To all of you out there that aren't married but are in abusive relationships.
Get out.
