I would give you a warm huge hug and kiss you . I would tell you that i hope you have one of the best birthdays ever and to enjoy it. Then i would ask you "Where is my piece of cake". That is important that you would keep me a piece of cake:))) Ohhh Yess then i would give you your birthday present, anything you asked for.

A friendly kiss in form of a peck is allowed even in the bible somewhere it is stated, that: greet a person in a friendly manner they they a picture showing two people hugging followed by a peck. It is ok. shouldnt be itimacy

Pissed off. Cause if I liked you I would of given it to you without you asking. Otherwise you would be unattractive to me and as a result not worthy of it. So asking me to kiss you is putting me in an awkward situation. That is cruel and a girl should get angry at you for that.

it depends how you said it. if you were all creepy and gave me your bedroom eyes when you said it, i might have felt a little weird.
if you were married, i might also feel awkward. i was thinking it wasn't a big deal, but actually, as i type...i am thinking about if one of my male friends asked me that....and either way, bedroom eyes or not, i think i'd be surprised and say "what...?"
if i was leaving, i might have given you a kiss on the cheek as a goodbye and not even thought about it. but to be asked would be awkward, i think.
i think your friend might have just felt weird about it. sorry she got pissed at you though.

would you have asked a male mate to kiss you ?
If no, then that means you are hoping for something sexual or fancy her.
if yes, then it was innocent and she should accept it, if she is happy kissing / pecking friends.
