I have cingular wireless , and there is someone harassing me, a telemarketer that calls about 5 times a day, and it's so annoying.. is there any way to block them from calling me ?

It is illegal for telemarketers in the US to call your cell phone. Next time they call, inform them of this. If they do not comply, report them to the FTC. Also, regardless of such, you should place your cell phone number on the do not call list at http://www.donotcall.gov/

I have Verizon so I am not sure, but you should be able to go to the Cingular wireless where you got the phone and they can put a block on it.

I agree with the person that answered a few days ago. If you tell them not to call you and they do then you can press charges. You must tell them to put you on there NO CALL list! Hey if you want to have fun tho just ask them for their number so you can call back at Your leisure! Or start telling them how glad you are to have someone to talk to that you have had the worst week. Your mate was with some else when you got home yesterday and then after you got home today your dog got ran over...... just go on and on and on till they hang up on you. I am sure they will not call you again!!!!!

Contact Cingular. If they don't want to help then threaten to exchange the phone company and go to verizon.

Contact to Cingular to let they help you if not go use other but if you using Synbian os or Windows Mobile, its have some software you have to find it and install it.
p.s. my 2nd phone(nokia 1110i) has calling screen, you should buy it one. (*-*)

you cannot block a phone number. if it is a telemarketer or a bill collector, you can ask them to not call you. if you have and they persist, you can file charges or you can get your number changed.

I really don't think there is anyway you can stop them or block them, but you can always change your number! Hope it works out well!!
