Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original) from the 1970's. The way the movie was filmed makes it look so real.

The Village.
Why?
Because unlike most horror movies it doenst need to rely on bucket loads of gore and immorality to tell a good story and scare you at the same time.

Tesis (or Thesis in English). it's a Spanish horror film about murders at a film school. Sounds stupid but it's pretty creepy. it scared me and I have seen far too many horror films to get scared easily

when i was much younger i thought the exorcist was scary, and to this day i still think it's scary but i think alot of it is from childhood memories. today i would have to say the texas chainsaw massacre the beginning was pretty good. it's pretty gorey though but i just love that sick and twisted stuff.

The Evil Dead! It's just a great cheesy horror movie that made me never stay in a cabin in the woods again.
