I always "measured big" with both of my kids and one was 7lbs 12oz and 2nd one was 8lbs 3 oz. Your baby will be fine. Its probally all in how you are carring the baby. He/she could be hiding in your hips so you dont look big. Count your blessings that your not bigger. Less back pain.

My little boy was 7lbs 13 oz. I had a small belly, many people didn't even know I was pregnant at all until I was about 7 months. And about my last 4 weeks of pregnancy, my belly grew the most out of my whole pregnancy, although it still wasn't really big, it looked like I had a small basketball under my shirt, lol. The doctors just said I was carrying more internally, that's why my stomach was small. Unfortunately, that made for an extremely uncomfortable pregnancy. But my baby was big & healthy.
Your doctor also should be able to estimate the size, have you asked them?

Im pregnant with my first baby and also still really small(33 weeks). Im not too sure what it is as im measuring up fine as well. As long as the babys are healthy nothing to worry about then I guess?.Although i have heard of women being really small right through pregnancy but delivering a large baby, as the baby was kind of curled up the whole time. Everyone is different but you shouldnt worry as long as bubs healthy thats all that matters even if he or she is born a little bit small.

My SIL never looked pregnant. She delievered a healthy girl that was 6.5 pounds.
IF you are concerned about the baby, ask the doctor to give you a guess on the babies weight. If you do deliver a 6 pound baby, that isn't small. Many people deliver babies that size.

I never did even show/stick out while i was pregnant. I only gained 10 pounds. I am on the slender side and no one could even tell i was pregnant and i went into labor once while i was 33 weeks but the labor was stopped but i ended up having him at 35 weeks and he weighed 4lbs, 15.6oz and was 17 inches long. He was and is healthy.

Congrats to you

Some people just carry small. I carried HUGE with my first and she was only 6.5 lbs. I carried alot smaller with my second and she was 7 lbs.

You still have 2-4 weeks to go and the baby will gain more weight.

it just depends on how your carrying the baby. some carry them way out in front, some carry them way inside. some up high, some down low. if your doctor says you're fine, then don't stress it. i'm sure you've got plenty of new-baby worries already without not being able to trust your doctor. btw, jan. 11th is my bday :)

My friend was still in size 12 jeans when she was 9 months pregnant, her baby was perfect weight, not small at all. Everybody is different.

Your baby will probably be small. Did you smoke or were you around smokers? That usually causes babies to be smaller then usual. Small doesn't mean it won't be healthy. The last 4 weeks our babies all gained 2 pounds so I wouldn't worry. Congradulations and good luck.
