If you don't know what AB/DL is, it's adult baby/diaper lover fetish. If women are into this "genre" they usually go for AB. It seems as a whole there are way more guys than girls into this. Does anyone have an idea why?

only a theory here. Could be a combination of things. The development of the male baby in the womb, particularly the development of the brain, is affected by the testosterone levels of the mother. Female babies aren't. Tesosterone levels can be affected by a lot of things, including stress. Also the society we live in makes it more acceptable for women to express themselves emotionally. To put it bluntly, we get away with more in that area. I go out in trousers, nobody even looks twice, my dad goes out in a skirt, endless comments, and I don't think it's his artificial leg that causes them.
If a woman acts in a childish way professionally or in her personal life, she might get called a silly ***** but it's often put down to hormones or ignored. Men are much less likely to get away with it. Also men tend to be more prepared to experiement with their partners sexual preferences than women are. OK I know that's a generalisation but to put it bluntly, it's not hard to talk a guy into something sexual.
All these factors combine to drive men into areas which might be refered to as fetish. Often mockery from other men and distaste from women keeps these things hidden. Nothing is more unnerving than the unknown so it's a vicious circle.
As for women steering clear of diaper loving............this could be that they have to clear up enough poo in their normal lives, either physical or figarative, it's probably not what they want to deal with in their fantasy life.
