Last night I came home from work drinks really drunk, and my new husband and I soon went to sleep. In the morning he was really mad at me and I couldn't understand why. He told me he'd been awake ever since he heard me moaning in my sleep and kind of moving as if I was having sex!!

Apparently this happened twice and the second time I said "Don't worry he won't find out".

So, now he's really quite upset and thinks I am
a) unhappy with him
b) fantasizing about someone else
c) I have cheated on him.

There is no one that i am attracted to, I work with boring old men. I love him dearly and haven't done anything to him.

He wants explanations, but I seriously can't remember a thing!

How do I smooth this over?

The only reason he would react so badly is if he's got a naughty little secret as well. You were drunk, what's his excuse?

Seriously, he's hiding something, you need to find out what, then forgive him and the whole thing will disappear.

Tell him it was about him but it was really sordid sex and you were saying taht father christmas won't find out so you'll still get presents.

Or tell him you can't control your dreams. I bet he's had a dream or two in his time and couldn't explain them. And just because you were having sex in your dream doesn't mean that you want sex with someone else in real life, look at a dream dictionary see if you can find a meaning for it that's unrelated to meaning you would cheat on him.

Tell him from what you can remember the dream was about you and him but that it was when you were young and you were talking about your dad not knowing

Even if you didn't know him when you were young doesn't matter dreams are very strange things and rarely mean anything so just try and smooth it over by pretending you were fantasising that he was your first and maybe you dreamt that your husband was worried about your dad finding out his little girl was with a boy

If you cannot remember anything, you were in bed with him, you have not done anything I would not actually offer any other explanation.
Just forget about it. He is a new husband you are bound to be finding out about each others quirks still. Maybe it is just something you do, dream and do the actions. try not to worry too much if he brings it up again, laugh about it and say, god how embarrassing!!

Pretend to have been lying to cover your embarrassment at having dreamt about shagging something ridiculous like Kermit the Frog, or Sir Cliff Richard. It's a dream, it's meant to be odd. And your fella has issues if he's that bothered by a daft dream.

Yeah I understand that he can be upset but it is really hilarious.
Tell him that you are not responsible for your dreams and there are some which we don't like, like nightmares or sex dreams like the one mentioned, but still they happen to people. It is not your fault, tell him that you haven't done anything wrong and that he is upset about something that doesn't even exist.
The additional argument is that you were drunk and when people get drunk they talk crap.
Chin up:)

You could say you are beginning to remember the dream and that it was him that you were sleeping with and the person who wouldn't find out was his boss who's desk you are getting passionate on late at night in his office.

Or something like that.

Explanation? The explanation you give him is, babe I was drunkhad a good night, but too many bevvies, I love you and you are the only man for me. Now and 4 ever. If he dosn['t belivev that, then there is something deeper going on that has nothing to do with who or wat in this case you said in your sleep/ Honesty.. Always number 1

Sounds like your dreams are mint, lol, dreams dontmean any thing really, just ya brain processing the days info n filtering it out, why not pretend to be asleep n call out his name, that should work, n stop drinking with old men, they are obviously turning you on subconciously lol

Tell him you were fantasising about him visiting you at work. You take him into the cleaning closet where he asks you about your boss catching you... and you answer...

"don't worry he won't find out!"

Tell him he is a jumping to conclusioins to ASSUME the 'he' in your statement was him and not someone else!
