When he was with Man City, and I was a teenager, I thought he was the best player i'd ever seen. Anybody know what he is up to now, what club is he at? Thanks again.

I'm a City fan and i have seen Gio score some fantastic goals, the one against Southhampton at home was something else.
A commentator once said as Gio was running with the ball, "Kinkladze has just dropped his shoulder and sent the crowd the wrong way!!

after another unsuccessful spell with Dinamo Tblisi, he is currently unemployed. He will be around 33 now so it looks like retirement wont be far away.
It was a rapid decline for a player who was once regarded as the brightest talent in English football

Last I heard he was at Derby County. He left Man City to go to Ajax but I dont think it quite worked out.

Do,nt know where he is at the moment , but i think he played for his former club in Georgia ,great player .
