Gift for my mother in Law. She's retired, has no hobbies, doesn't like to travel, she doesn't even like to go out to eat. She cooks every meal (but has great cookware and all kitchen gadgets). She does like flowers and gardening in the spring and summer. Help!!!!

Get her some rare bulbs that she can plant in early spring. You can buy them in a preplanted pot or just the bulb themselves. Your local garden shop will help you pick out the best ones.

If she likes flowers then maybe a really nice crystal vase, if u have kids then a nice family photo in a pretty frame or even a picture of u and your wife, since she cooks alot a nice apron. Good luck I know Christmas is so hard to find the right gift.

you said she has all kitchen gadgets. Try looking for gardening gadgets that will make her gardening easier. eg: The garden claw,
something for her to kneel on when shes doing her gardening, A book about the plants she likes and how to take care of them. Just a few ideas hope it helped.
P.S. Happy holidays

Go to www.gifts.com. When you get there, you can use the shop by personality option which lets you pick whether you are shopping for a man, woman, girl, or boy & then it will take you thru a series of questions to get an idea of what kind of person she is. When you get thru that a lot of gift ideas will pop up. Even if you don't find exactly what you are seeking, it'll help get your ideas flowing. Good luck~

Garden tools might be a good idea. My wife likes to garden and just loves gardening books, especially the ones with beautiful pictures so she might like that.
