I have to admit I hunt for the remote! I'd forgotton that there are actual buttons on the TV!

Annoying isn't it? I haven't lost my remote, it's given up the ghost. Tried new batteries - nothing. So I find the channel I want by fiddling around on the box (digital). When I complained to the provider they said I would have to send it them in the post! They don't have a centre in my town - well, why should they? I live in Switzerland - in the capital city. I take it their nearest centre is halfway up a mountain. OK, I can get the channels, but I can't get Ceefax, which I need for work. I just love modern technology! Yesterday my telephone, Internet/e-mail connection and tele went down for about three hours. I used my mobile to complain. Two hours later I got a call on my land line phone asking me if everything was OK. If it hadn't been OK I wouldn't have received their call.

For some reason always look for the remote first, don't know why i suppose its because i won't be able to concentrate on the tele until i have found it.

Hunt around and look for the remote...then eventually use the buttons on the TV. then during commercials....look for the remote some more.

Personally I just push the buttons on the TV until I actually do come across the remote in the distant future. I don't get much exercise, so it does me good.

I have a party, invite all friends around and do a search. The I sit on the remote, and shortly afterwards lose it again.

I hunt around where I'm sitting for a bit then either get up or give up and watch whatevers on anyway

I go turn on the T.V. then go find the remote so I have something to watch while I search. LOL!!!

i get up and change however my fella will miss his best things whilst ripping the house to bits looking for the remote
