Is the "trailer" on many DVD's that warns about "illegal downloading is stealing" allowed to be reproduced?
I would assume it's copyrighted, but I would think they would also want to spread the message.

I guess the contents are copyrighted because it is part of the movie which is copyrighted. But I can't see why a copy of a trailer is wrong. It is free advertisement so I can't see them prosecuting anyone for it. Good question though.

Nothing on the internet is wrong, well ok somethings are obviously, but watching movies and listening to music without paying for it is perfectly ok, at least in my opinion.

they do, that's why a lot of times they will not go after people that take clips of movies, but then again, they don't want people to get the stuff for free...then they lose money $_$
