I had the coat cleaned when I lived in another city. Now it doesnt feel soft anymore, its really stiff. Is there anyway to restore it back to original form. My local cleaners does not clean suede.

Use bounce out or a favor dryer softener and put your coat in the dryer on a low warm setting let it go thru the cycle..Good Luck

There are leather cleaners that clean suede. My own cleaner will send it out to them.
My Husband has a black suede coat that is 14 years old, I only paid 70 dollars for it and cleaning it will be $45. So I bought him a new jacket.

hmm, sounds like it got wet. Use a suede brush on it, then rub some preservative into the nap. it will soften up.
