Since fate is our destiny or inevitable course I suppose there is since we are all to eventually die in this system it is our fate to be born, grow old and die. Is it a predetermined fate? Yes, since it was a result of sin. The good news is that if we believe, our fate may change in the future where it will be possible to have life everlasting free from sin and the wages it pays, death.

Perhaps not....... but in any case, everything can not happen as we will because our will does not match other people's will and in this clash often we lose being minority.
To say that our destiny is entirely in our own hands is like saying I will make sure my next child would be a daughter or that anytime I want to go out, I will get a taxi waiting for me. There is of course our will and sweat that moulds our future but there is a lot of interplay with other people's will and sweat and this complex interplay is extremely difficult to either interpret or predict. Just as future is uncertain to the core, so is our destiny....neither in our own hands nor fixed up in any manner in advance!!

When we are born our course of life is already drawn. Education, wealth, job, etc come according to that plan in course f time. You can modify a little by your intelligence but you cannot alter it.
For example you are born to be a film actor and your parents educated you as a doctor. but you will join films at the appropriate time and that will become your career. This is what people call as fate.

No. We create our reality, whether we are aware consciously of this or not.
Fate, destiny, chance, luck, and so on are words used to describe the unexplained twists and turns of human experience.
The mystery schools taught that we are a reality creating species. This is the explanation.
Our individual and collective experience is based on our thought processes.
Thought is the reality creation mechanism.
We create our reality via our thoughts and the emotions we attach to those thoughts.

depends what you mean by 'Fate'
To the greeks 'Fate' was decided by three women, Clotho; who spun the yarn of fate, Lachesis; who weaved the yarn of fate and Atropos; cut the yarn of fate.
To some people their 'fate' is a pe-determined destiny, in which you have no choice, and will come to pass whatever you do.
to some Fate is simply a statement of your life, with no pre-destination, just a jumble of whatever happens.

I doubt it. I think that fate is just what we like to blame or thank when things turn for the better or worse.

i dont think that there is and i dont wanna get too matrixy but, i like to think that im in control of my own life. everything we do has consequences and if we were already subject to these consequences without having done anything, then the world wouldnt be fair and there'd be no point iin doing anything at all. for me, and probably a few other people, the idea of the things we do in our life having already been decided for us is far too depressing.
