They both despise Jews and gays.
Their belief is the only way and if you dont agree you get shot/beheaded
It seems to me that both of them suck in all the weak willed people and use violence and intimadation to keep their followers in line.

Do not agree. Most Muslims are people like you and I and they like us enjoy life. Unfortunately because, like in every race and every religion, there a relatively a few idiots and hotheads without a brain of their own they are led into the wrong way of thinking and living their lives by an even smaller bunch of extremists. Muslims do not all live in the Middle East in the same way that Christians don't live in Israel or Jews in Israel. If we all stopped trying to put all people into a specific category then the world would get a long nicely. We should never, never compare any one section of the population of this world with the Nazi's.

Islam is actually a peaceful religion, and teaches against violence
I think you will find that Christiantity despises Jews and gays. Islam also feels no need to convert people, they just do it to save your soul from hell in their view.
Again, The Islam belief that their religion is the only way is the same as that of Christianity. And as for being killed, what about when the Christians killed anyone who diddn't belong to the same denomination as them, never mind religion.
Viollence and intimidation are onliy seen in Islamic "cults", the Quran itself says that they should not try to force their beliefs on others.

Jews are people of the book you ****! We are taught in Islam to respect them, but when the Zionists are attempting to wipe out an entire nation, I think the Muslims have a right to be slightly annoyed don't you?! If you have ever read a book, you would know that in practically every Muslim country Christians, Jews and non believers live side by side with no problem. Can you name one Muslim country where the government have tried to eradicate a non muslim minority? You really are the biggest fool of the century! ;)

you don't believe in the religion to know of such acts.
your making assumptions that relies on media which for all you know they talking out of their backsides.

don't hate the religion before you know true facts about it.
Islam is believed by millions around the world and yet to say people follow it because they are threatened into is wrong, surely the would have protested against it generations ago, but for i know this is my religion and i respect many other religions in this world. i wouldn't say something a terrible thing about another religion, its a persons beliefs and values and a way of life.

I couldn't disagree more I can safely assume that you have never met any Muslims socially as the ignorance you display can only come from someone who has never had any real contact with people of the Muslim faith,if you had you would find that they differ in no respect from your own neighbours.Then perhaps you would prefer to remain in ignorance it is much easier to hate people that you don't know .

It certainly would seem that the mentality (or lack thereof) is similar, and of course ANY fanatic, whatever their " cause " is disruptive and dangerous to some level/degree.

You probably despise them yourself, so you think that others despise them as well. And we don't care who is gay and who isn't. If someone wants to be gay, it's their choice.
