ASK YOUR DOCTOR NOT PEOPLE IN Q&A. IF YOU TRUST THE PEOPLE HERE MORE THAN THE DR. THEN YOU NEED TO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST AS WELL AS A MEDICAL DOCTOR.
yes, that was screaming at you; don't take any other advice than this or you really are nuts.

I'd say get a new Doctor or make another appointment to get some specific answers. You pay for the visits go in with prepared questions and get some answers as to what your Doctor thinks may be going on. So many times physicians send you for tests or give medications and don't explain why! Have you had bloodwork recently? Have you put on weight? Do you exercise and eat properly? Do you drink enough water? Any heart problems or history of heart diseases in your family? Any other symptoms other than your swollen feet? These are some of things you should be asking and thinking about. Hope this helps. Goodluck

In my case i had a Potts fracture of the left ankle over 2 many years in the past and it has on no account returned to prevalent. besides, ingesting a brilliant number of fluid, somewhat water is incredibly best for you and in case you could shed weight that is going to of course help too. Recently had a swollen ankle and went to a podiatrist for the 1st time. She said because the inflammation was not due to injury,it could be due to a systemic problem & wanted to check my glands. She palpated my neck, underarm and torso.I kept my under shorts on,but when she went to check my glands in the lower area she pulled them aside and prodded certain areas and examined my testicles.I had never been examined by a woman before.Never expected this from a foot doctor. She seemed to be professional, but the exam of my lower area lasted for what seemed like forever. Had to give urine sample, but blood work was scheduled for future app't that I never went,'cause swelling went away and she said she might have to do more exams.
Did you ever have a physical exam given by a Podiatrist??

hmmmm...im not sur what mite be causing your problem but i do hava few tips for you:
Try and avoid salty foods as this can cause more swelling
do foot pumps to get rid of the swelling - which is moving your foot fast and rhythmically up and down
lightly massage the fluid from your ankles up your leg and behind your knee to drain the fluid into lymph nodes
and during the day be sure to lift your feet up to a level above your heart to aid the drainage of the fluid and reduce the swelling

Good Luck hope this works ;)

Call your Doctor back and speak to him, tell him you need to know why he wants to put you in the hospital. If you do not find out from that call, the cause of your proplem and the treatment the treatmant he plans on giving you, go to another doctor. There is a reason fluid is building up in your body and he should have given you the reason already.
