Carrier is more important. Because, this is what will generate money for you gradually. If you dont have any carrier then you may have no personal life to think about. If your carrier is strong, and you get a good job, only then you can think about your personal life. A good carrier results a good job and handsome earning. You can't afford anything without money. Nowadays, even your girlfriend will ditch you if you are a bum.

If you mean career. Without a good career you cannot have good life.If you have to chose between career and personal life.Personal life is MORE important. You can get another job.

Both are important. You need your job to get mone to eat and have a place to live, but without your family, oyu have no support system. No one to lean on when you fall. I think family is more important, because (I apologize if you're not christian) which will you have in heaven the money from your job or your family? Which do you want to be there more?
