It would have to be a word that is personal to you, it has a meaning or a memory behind it, and one that you wouldn't mind having on your skin for the rest of your life.
Also, something unique is always interesting. Have a look at song lyrics, poems, names etc in things that inspire you or stir an emotion or memory.
I'd have the word 'Jellicle' on me. Simply because its from a poem that I've always loved and it means things on different levels.

I already have the word "life" tattooed on my arm. I am getting the words "ocean spirit" tattooed on my leg, and the letters LSP on my arm (for my family, Linda, Steve and Pat)
