can someone tell me what the working hours of the post offices in malaysia is? couldnt find it on their website. is it open on saturdays?

0800-1630 hrs. Monday to Friday. 1st Saturday of the month close for business.

It varies from place to place. Some post offices are open only according to office hours, but those in public places (i.e shopping malls) are usually open until night, and sometimes even on sundays. The post office at my place is open 6 days a week, 8.30am to 9.30pm, so you might want to check out which post office you have in mind then.
However, there are certain services that are only available during office hours and weekdays, like the PosLaju courier service and driving license renewal.

I think its off every saturday. rest of days 9- 4.30. friday got a lunch break from 12-2.30 pm. I am not sure either. i Hav efew suggestions:
1. call operator and get number of pos office.
2. or use yellow pages to find.
3. Or you can stop any postman in your housing area and inquire from them
4. just use a mailbox at the roadside to mail your letter.

basically, post offices in Malaysia has various operating time in branches in different locations. operating time for post office branches in Kedah is very different from post office branches in Pulau Pinang even these 2 states are neighbour.
if you prefer to visit post offices in saturday or even sunday, please check the list of post office branches in the website as below for detail.

they work. from 9-4 . open on Mons- Fridays. but Friday they have a longer break. because of the Muslim prayers
