It's unfair to call Dravid a 'total failure' as a batsman - he is the only one Indian batsman scoring some runs and staying at the wicket for some time on a gerular basis ...
Sehwag doesn't have much technique hence relies on his natural flair but opponents have studied his weakness well hence are trapping him regularly (similar to Ganguly being bowled short stuff around his leg stump at rib cage height with a 7-2 off-side field setting) ...
Tendulkar is leaving a small-yet-crucial gap between his bat and pad while playing on front-foot outside off-stump - of late he has been bowled off-strump / middle-stump number of times to deliveries cutting in or off inside edge; also he has become somewhat subdued in his approach (may be because of his age or fitness) - earlier he was lot more aggressive and dominating ...

Who told you Dravid and Tendulkar are failing. Dravid should not be blamed even if he is having a bad patch right now in his career due to the burden of captainship as also he is the only one loyal batsmen right now in the so called strongest batting line up. Also Sachin after his come back from the injuries has tried his level best to catch up with the pace. Sehwag there is a lot to blame for. I wonder how he has maintained his position in the team. He should be thrown out of the team,he does not deserve to be in the team. One thing to blame is his footwork, then his overconfidence in playing veryveryvery silly shots as also his aggressiveness. It all matters when you are playing cricket on an international level. Now i feel it is the time for youngsters to prove themselves so that the team does not rely only on Tendulkar and Dravid.

The inability of the people to accept that even the best of players have to be dropped or rested when out of form. The case of Zaheer,Kumble & Ganguly is a strong pointer of how they have rebounded after being dropped. They are hungry for success. You have to starve Sachin,Sehwag also.

see dravid has not failed that much.he has done well in the last 4 games.as for sachin he is recovering from an injury.moreover a lean patch does come in a player's career.and as far as sehwag is concerned he too is in bad form but as he is not a technically sound batsman he will have problems getting back into form
