I would forgive them, and give thanks for the lessons learned, but remove myself from the relationship. Would 'the one' really betray you four times? That doesn't sound like 'the one' to me. Although - our definitions of 'betray' might differ.

Hell no. If they have done it once they Will always do it and in the end u get hurt and not them, Such a person does not deserve love, not yours anyway, if they do things like that they dint love u, no matter what the excuse, u dont hurt or betray the person u love. Rather find some one u desrves your love and can gives it back,

I would forgive but not love them again. As long as i don't forgive, i will keep thinking and suffering...i need to forgive so i can forget..

once shame on them twice shame on you. they are not the one if they have betrayed you 4 times. you need someone that will be honest with you and not betray you.

Girl, you may love "the one" and the one may love you, but the one definitely isn't caring about your feelings or anything. He only cares for himself and you need to dump him!!!! If you don't he's just going to continue to hurt you. Let him go and if you really want him back AND he wants you back, make him grovel!!! If you leave and he doesn't want you to and you stay your ground (don't give in to him) he'll come crawling back and will try his best not to hurt you ever again. If he slips up, drop him again and next time don't go back. That's just retarded to keep doing this to yourself over and over again. The saying goes "hurt me once, shame on you. Hurt me twice, shame on me." If you continue to stay with him and he continues to hurt you, it's your own fault.
