If you are looking for a late 90's bike, the Honda 900RR is a great bike to be a street fighter. It has a rear wheel weight bias so it already wheelies well, has enough power, and by now, pretty inexpensive.

Pretty much any sport bike with road rash to the plastics as you'll be removing them.
I prefer Suzuki Gixxers though, particularly the SACS cooled motors You could probably get a 750 Katana cheap and fit a 1200 Bandit motor, thats good for over 140bhp with very few mods, more if you want to spend some cash

The day Harley makes a ultra fast bike will be the day its towed by another brand. Only tools ride sportsters Some people don't know what a Hooligan bike is

the Harley Davidson 1200 custom is a great bike to start with, it has more hp and torque of any of the sport bikes, and it can be modified into a mean and ultra fast bike
