Is this the time of month when you would normally get your period? That could be why...

Slightly uncomfortable is ok because the baby may be growing but craps I would get checked just to be sure, I went into Labor at 23 weeks and it started as cramps in my lower stomach and sides although I did not know this at the time it was actually the baby moving down. I went to the doctor to late and they couldn't stop labor. Anyway It wouldn't hurt to go get checked.

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and I've had period-like cramps but it was mostly in the beginning of my pregnancy. If you lay down for an hour and your cramps don't go away, you should see a doctor. But unless there's bleeding, cramps are normal. Of course if they don't let up, you should probably be seen to be on the safe side.

You should always contact your doctor when you experience things like that, but for me, when I was pregnant, I had the same pains, my midwife told me that all the ligaments and muscles are stretching and being pushed out of place. Some discomfort is normal, but if you are feeling like you are going to be sick, if you feel like there is something"hanging out" or if you are bleeding, those are signs to get to the doctor. Honestly tho hun, the pain never ends! My son is 17 months and I still have pains in places that didn't bother me until I became pregnant.

If the pain isn't severe and there is no bleeding, then it is most likely pain from your uterus stretching and growing. Tell your doc about any pain though just to be on the safe side.
