Everyone has their own opinion ... but it's usually based on what they've heard or read in the papers
I met my fella in an online chat room .... we talked for a few months ... then exchanged phone numbers ... then talked some more ... then met.
We been together 10yrs now ... so sometimes ... it's OK :) ... Just take it slow and one day at a time
Good Luck

It depends but you have to be careful as anyone can create a superficial life for themselves hence it can create a world of deceit. For instance, a guy who weighs over 200 pounds, bald and short in height can give a profile of a hunk with an exotic background and son and even get a picture of someone to post.

Real-life dating is far better. Except you just want to flirt and have wicked fun, then thumbs-up.

Yes and no. Depends on who it is. There are a lot of perverts out there, but then there are great people out there. So as I said, it all depends. I met my fiance online. We were friends first for a few years before we saw eachother in person for the first time. Being friends first makes things a bit easier. You get to see how they interact with other people. You also have to wonder if who they say they are, is who they actually are. Yet again, being friends with them first makes it easier to know for sure. I say if your going to do it, just be careful. There are a lot of wackos out there. I wish ya the best!

If you are using a reliable site it may be ok, but personally, I would be very careful, just like in a bar setting where you meet some one. Only more so since you can not read their eyes or body language.
