Unless you plan on getting very dirty, winter white is very appropriate this time of year, when many people still cling to "no white after Labor Day."

I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The only thing I have to say to that question is if you were selected to participate in MIP then the sorors should have advised you as to what type of white would be appropriate. In all honesty, at the appropriate time, most sorors would prefer that you wear a regular white, BUT winter white is usually VERY acceptable. If my sorors have not told you otherwise then for this time of year, it would be okay for you wear the white that is most appropriate for this time of year and most suited to your taste!

This type of question should be answered by current chapter members, president or the grad advisor. I say this because if you choose to wear a different white other than advised you may not be able to participate in intake. Each chapter is slightly different, for example I know some chapters require white stockings and others require nude. So please ask the chapter president or grad advisor, i'm sure they would be more than happy to answer any questions now to avoid confussion later.
