White Lines by Duran Duran was poor, I particulalry hated Never let her slip away by 90's buffons KWS. They also killed Baker Street. Girls Aloud are now doing that terrible Tiffany song I think we're alone now. I don't know which is worse frankly. The original or their version. As someone who grew up in the 80's and early 90's with Stock Aitken and Waterman, no doubt they assisted many good songs to be murdered that my memory has banished for the sake of my mental health.

Alot of people on here think the same as me....Nobody should cover a Beatles song - its sacriledge!!
Other than that though - on the xmas subject - Billie Pipers version of 'Last Christmas'. I know Wham! weren't great but they they wipe the floor with Billie!
OH and while I'm at it - Samantha Mumba...what was she thinking trying to sing Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas!" Dear oh dear!!

Check out a Rhino CD called "Golden Throats." It has William Shatner's recording of "Mr. Tambourine Man." So bad, it's good. It's also got Sammy Davis Jr.'s version of the "Theme from Shaft," complete with the line "Get on with your bad self, John Shaft!"

Madonna's American Pie was an insult to the original and as much as I like Sheryl Crow she did not do justice to Sweet child of mine.
