One thing wrong with new cotton ones...they fuzz comes off when you you first wear them and gets between your toes. I notice it in the shower (the fuzz, that is).

That's funny! I always said if I ever have more money I would wear new socks every day and throw them out when I'm done. Nothing like new socks! mmmm

Sorry. I got some new socks two years ago. Nothing I have got since has been as good. So I keep wearing the old one. They are part of me now.

I love these things- new socks
New underwear period(unless I'm on my period then I wouldn't be stupid enough to wear new pants, girls will know what I'm saying)
New bedding, of just washed bedding, but with a different fabric softener so you can really smell it.
New pjs, they are the best.
I don't like new shoes or boots, the wearing in phase is so unpredictable.
I don't like new coats, because I always forget which one's mine coz I'm not used to it and leave it places.
And I don't like new trainers, they are sooooooooo bright white, they are screaming 'look at us we are NEW TRAINERS.
Er, yeh.

i agree, totally fabulous feeling... but ever wondered what happens to them??!! where do socks go??!! i think there are sock elves that come and pinch them from the linen basket. i also think my washing machine might have a penchant for smelly socks too and gobbles them up. ;)

i love getting new socks.. at one point i had so many new socks still with the labels on i had a new pair of socks on for 2 weeks running!! at xmas all my family usually get socks for xmas! if they like it or not!
