Up until the year 2000, DC dominated movies. They had Superman and Batman. Marvel had Blade, and that was really it. In 2000, the X-Men film was released and was a success. Since then, Marvel is dominating the film industry, with other hits like Spider-Man, Fantastic 4, Iron Man, and the Avengers. DC does have the Nolan Batman films, but that is really all there is. The new Superman film coming out next year may be a success, but only time will tell. Since the Avengers film came out, DC may attempt to make a Justice League film. They failed several times to make it, but this may have influenced them to make a new step. As of now, Marvel dominates movies, but DC dominates cartoons and animated films.

Captain America (with possible remake coming)

Spider-man 3 & Ghost Rider are coming out in o7'. There have been 3 X Men, 2 other Spider man, Hulk, Daredevil ,some more I can't think of
