Mystic Ticket?

Where are you supposed to use the Mystic Ticket in Emerald?
I have it but I go to the harbors and they only take me to Slateport, Lilycove, and/or the Battle Frontier.

if i'm not wrong you have to go and see your'dad' in petaburg and talk to him, wow, you have a mystic ticket? can you share it with me? please?

Mystic Ticket is only give out in a special Nintendo event. You'll need to get one through the Pokemon Center in New York or by attending a special event in order to get it.
