What I find amazing is that people will always say something tasted like 'chalk'. Has everyone tasted this as well? Is it compulsory in some schools? How comes everyone in the world knows what bloody chalk tastes like? WHAT possessed them to try it? Just in case they ever ate something bad, so they could comment on it with experience?

If you've ever had braces, it tastes just like the wax you put on to stop your cheeks ripping open. And very much the same as candles but candles are a 'lighter' flavor! You'd think the colours would be different flavors but you'd be surprised to find you're wrong!

No, I've never tried a crayon, but at a guess I'd say that they would taste waxy - whatever that tastes like.

It is difficult to describe the taste. There is a waxy taste but something else alters it, keeping it from tasting like those wax candies kids sometimes get at Halloween. It is...not a good taste.

I have not eaten one before but I have one on the desk so...
... not tasty at all. The paper is just dry paper and not nice at all. The actual thing itself is very plasticy in flavour and the texture is a bit gritty and hard and awful. My tongue is covered in wax and...
... this is awful. I don't like it at all. They kids who eat these are idiots. I feel a bit sick now. This is just awful. Eeeugh... foul waxy flavour...

Well, obviously it depends on the colour. Crayola names the flavours - it's very helpful when you're trying to decide on a meal. I like Grape and Citrus Burst.

Yeah they are quite lovely but better than the taste is the texture, sort of smooth but gritty, yummi

I haven't eaten one, (that I can remember), but I use to use the red one as lipstick when I was a kid, and had to make sure I kept remembering not to lick my lips, it was quite nasty if I did
