I am a white man with a tattoo on my shoulder blade of the El Salvadorian flag. So when I start my bit in a few months, I was wondering.... who's gonna shank me first? Will it be the Mexicans, because they'll think I'm stomping their flag? Or the polar bears because they'll think I'm a trader? Or maybe the blacks because I won't have protection from the whites or the mexicans?
Never done more a night in the drunk tank until now.

Unless you plan on going to jail or prison in California or the Southwest the questions is kinda moot. In the end, you're a wood, so I don't think you'll get much crap from the whites. It also depends how you carry yourself in the joint. If you carry yourself as a punk you'll get treated like a punk.
Plus, in the joint, as long as you stay out of the gambling, drugs and the race politics game, you'll be relatively (the key word relatively) safe.

My bet is you can stroll in in your bunk uncover a mountain dew and a percent of smokes in your pillow. You'll make the error of ingesting the soda and having a cig. Then a few mexican dude will arise and declare that you're now his estate considering he purchased you with soda and smokes. He'll then promote you for a carton of smokes to a few black dude who can have his manner with you.

Most of the people in jail are morons and won't even know its a flag or what it is... Stay away from the blacks and stick with your own kind. If they ask, just tell them ur a half-breed, but always hung with whites because - duh, you look white..
