Well, considering the internet is still on IPV4 with a possible 4,228,250,625 addresses (approximately, including private ranges) and we are running out, you could guestimate that there are approximately 4 billion devices currently connected to the Internet.

I've heard estimates of around 350 Million people having an internet connection and its growing by about 20,000 a week. Could be out of date though.

do an ip scanning to know how many are currnetly online. and if you are serious contact all internet providers worldwide. and i dont think you will need that becuse it is going to take a lot of time and if you attempt ip scaning of some ip's like 10.**.**.***.**(army) you can be in jail within 24 hours.
