Because I have a round knowledge of a lot of every day things and more than that I live a life that is beneficial to not only to myself but to my wife and family.
I enjoy reading and up-building activities and dislike arrogance and people that look down on others because of what they perceive in their own mind as being superior.
Going to college or university doesn't make someone intelligent because common sense is a good measure of intelligence as just having knowledge is not the measure of intelligence but how you apply knowledge to beneficial purposes which doesn't come from an exam but the way you live you life.
Respectful attitude to others shows good intelligence and upbringing and someone that you want to talk to and trust in.

Well, intelligence is relative. Basically I think you need a basis for comparison - I'd consider myself above the average person, but I'm no genius. In elementary school I skipped a grade so I've spent my whole life 1-2 years younger than everybody else learning the same material in my grade. I'm about to finish 4th semester of college calc. and I just turned 19. Does that make me smart, no not really, but I think it at least means I've got a "mature" mind.

Yes, I consider myself intelligent. I really think out answers and change my mind a lot of times. That implies to me that I can see things from different points of view. I can also talk about a lot of different subjects, not in depth, but I am also a good listener--I can listen and comprehend a speaker that is discussing subjects for which I had no previous knowledge.

Personally speaking ,I have an IQ of 158. And I consider myself reasonably intelligent, but as my family puts it,I'm lazy as Sh**,lol. My family is always on my back telling me how much potential I have and I could be so much more if I just got off my lazy fat @ss and took the initiative instead of working in a dead end job as I am now.

More intelligent than some people as intelligent as some people and less intelligent than some other people. Why? Because there are different degrees of intelligence, the main thing is to ackowledge one's limits;)

i consider myself somewhat intelligent, why, well first of all i dont think how much you know(bookwise) is what makes you smart, i think it is how you deal with your day to day situations, when you make the right decisions you reamain intact, therefore since im still here on this earth, i must have at least the minimun amount of intelligence required to keep living out of harms way, not that there is a standard, hope you know what i mean

I have a wide variety of knowledge. And I have the hunger to learn about everything and anything and also eager to share that knowledge.

Although people that communicate better are percieved to be smarter than people that dont communicate very well.

In reference to a fool-----yes
