anybody remember "the regiment" early 70s?

it was british army in india in 19 century, The actor was a fair hair chap, he came in dallas or that outher american soap sop that was around in 80s want to know if i could get dvd of the regiment, but dont know if it was bbc or itv cant remember.or the actors name

The TV series "The Regiment" was on BBC in 1972 it ran for 26 episodes and starred Christopher Casenove in the leading part as Lt. Richard Gaunt. BBC Sales may be able to help with a DVD.
