Sad thing is even though that may be a reality, there are so many scams out there. I will never donate to any type of unlocal charity or organzation. How many days after 9/11 were there scams ya know
I dont really fell sorry for those countries.... I think that they should not keep on having kids that they cant provide for.

It's evident what Carter himself thought, since he committed suicide later. There's a fine line between documenting horrors to make the world aware, and documenting horrors to make money, while telling yourself you're doing something honorable.

Newspapers feared reaction so much that they printed "the little girl resumd her trek and Carter chased away the vulture"
Carter himself said he sat under a tree afterward and smoked & cried.

I would have given him much more kudos if he had dried those tears and carried the weak little one to the aid center. But he didn't. He got his shot, indulged his guilt for a few moments, went home and collected his prize.

yes, what bother me is that Kevin should have given the kid a sandwhich and shooed the vulture away instead of taking his picture for his own profit.

Thanks for ruining my afternoon, lol...What a sad, sad picture. No, I hadn't seen it before today. I personally, would've helped the poor child, instead of taking a picture for my own notoriety. I'm sure Kevin agonized over this for a long time...explaining his suicide.
