well I answer a question when I feel that I know enough on teh subject to share my knowledge with others. Also I answer questions when I feel that I can justifiably answer it based on my own life experiences.

I answer questions that interest me, and also I want to try and at least help the person if I can. I hate seeing anyone suffer. As far as you not being interesting you got my attention. People can be too judge mental at times and just plain mean. Keep asking and answering what you say will always help someone. Best of luck to you.

I am 68 years old, have had two tours in Viet Nam with the 101st and the 1st Calvary 5th batt. Rangers. I was wounded twice. I went to college for three years, two years to a University and got a medical degree. I built my own construction company and still continued school while raising five children.

So, you see I have a lot to offer someone in the form of advice. I have seen it, you wouldn't believe what I've seen, I haven't even told my wife or children what I've seen in my time. Some of it isn't for the eyes of the innocent or, the virgins.
I want to share my experiences with someone that needs help. I have written five magazine stories, one small book but wasn't satisfied, I write for a small newspaper occasionally . I have held several people while they died, in not to comfortable circumstances, thousands of miles from home. I have been shot twice and lived.

I've been married for 48 years, went through some tough times, some good times, I've seen evil and helped quell evil, I want to share. I dated in school, I necked and kissed. We partied, we drank, we raised heck but now I want to help someone understand what there looking for if I can, do you understand?

I gotta be honest here.... A little of both.
I love answering interesting questions, cause you do find out a little more about yourself... but I also love helping the person who has the problem....
But - some peoples problems are so exergerrated ( they don't know how to put their problems in perspective) in that case... I don't even bother answering.
but- heres a word of advice... "never be a shrink to a friend" you're only setting yourself off to fail.

I try to answer questions on things that I know about that will help someone or at least what I have said to them will make them stop and think.

Sometimes I do both. I like interesting questions, but if I can help someone with a question, I'd rather do that. Merry Christmas to ya !!
