If you wanted a politics related job but obviusly didnt have the type of money to run for the House or Senate or anything; whats something that you might be able to do?

Start on the local scale. Sit in on a city or county planning commission, then try to get elected as a city council member or alderman. then try to go for state congress or Senate depending on your state, by then you should have enough support to make a federal run for congress with out spending to much money. unfortunately because of the wealth and influence of the Senate you would need a million bucks to run for that one.
