The biggest animal in the world and biggest animal in earth's history is the blue whale. They are even bigger than the biggest dinosaurs. A baby human could crawl up or down its aorta vein with room to spare. On average it grows between 85 and 100 feet. There has been a recording of a 109ft blue and a 110ft blue, but that was so long ago, scientist aren't sure how acurate those measurements are because there wasn't a world wide measuring system like today. They are estimated to be around 200 tonnes(tons), but scientist aren't sure about that either because there is no safe way to measure a blue whale's weight. It's just too big and carcasses loose blood and fat, meaning measuring pieces won't be accurate.

Technically, the biggest animal in the World would be the Coral Reef off Australia. The biggest land animal would probably be the African Elephant. The biggest sea animal would have to be the Blue Whale. The biggest bird is probably the Emu. The biggest reptile would either be the Anaconda or the Australian Crocodile. The all time biggest land animal was I think the Brontosaurus, or a close match to it but I can't remember the name.

Mammals (Mammalia)

The Blue Whale is the largest living animal in the world.A member of the order Cetacea, the Blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is believed to be the largest animal ever to have lived. The maximum recorded weight was a 30m/100-foot long 190 tonnes (209 tons), while several longer ones, up to 33.3 m (110 ft), went unweighed. The African Bush Elephant (Loxodonta africana), of the order Proboscidea, is the largest living land animal. At birth it is common for an elephant calf to weigh 100 kg (225 pounds). The largest elephant ever recorded was shot in Angola in 1974. It was a male and weighed 12,272 kg or 13.5 tons (27,000 pounds), with an overall length (trunk to tail) of 10.6 m (35 feet) and a shoulder height of 4.2 m (13.7 ft).
