Call your service provider first. They can block all outbound calls and text. Check with them if any calls have been made from the phone since the last time you had it, if there has been contact the police and they can liase with the mobile company to get details of any calls made.
If you don't report it to the phone company and the police you are liable for phone bill and if any thing illegal.
It is all easy to do and it is worth it.
The phone companyt can block your phone completely so it can't be used ever again.
So call the phone company immediatley and then the police.
I hope that you get it back but usually then are never seen again.

I wouldn't ring the police, if you think one of your friends has taken it, it maybe an idea to ask them first. If this fails contact yuor network provider and get a bar put on the phone or cancel your contract. If you do want to go to the police I would go down to your local station and speak to them

Ring the number and see who answers. Contact your service provider to get it barred and report it to the police, because if the phone is used to do anything illegal, the police will come after you.
You can get cheap new phones from here. They are part of the carphonewarehouse group and very cheap.

No, phone the Mobile Service Provider (Vodafone?) and ask them to disable your SIM Card. But before you do, ask them if any calls have been made on it since it was lost - the records could be used to track the culprit(s) if you wish to proceed along those lines.

Yes but not as an emergency.
You may need a case number to claim on insurance.
As above - call network to block the account.

you need to call whoever your service is through. you can call the police if you want but they're probably not going to put out an apb for your phone or anything like that.
