need some advice. I'm only 13, but anyway. My so called "FRIEND" has recently visited my house, and i've lost an Motorla v3 pink razr. I have searched EVERYWHERE and i mean, everywhere. I saw it on monday on my table, and she came on wednesday, and it's no where to be found now. I'm certain it's not here. Also, i've been told she has theived at other peoples houses. What should i do, ring the police. If i ring her now, she'll just deniy it.

Ring the number and see who answers. Contact your service provider to get it barred and report it to the police, because if the phone is used to do anything illegal, the police will come after you.

You can get cheap new phones from here. They are part of the carphonewarehouse group and very cheap.

Okay first thing you need to do is report it lost/stolen to your cell phone company, that way they can turn off the phone and you won't have to worry about any charges for overused minutes or things like that. They may require you file a police report if you claim it is stolen, especially if you plan on using insurance on your phone. Typically if you have insurance on your phone it's like a $50 deductable you have to pay...sometimes you only get a refurbished phone though! Second...just because you've heard things about your friend doesn't make them true. A LOT can happen to a phone that's left laying around between Monday and Wednesday. Someone may have moved it, your parents may be teaching you a lesson about responsibility and are hiding the phone from you, or maybe, just maybe, you misplaced it. Don't jump to conclusions, that will ruin your character and image just as fast as everyone saying your friend is a theif has ruined hers.

Contact your cell phone provider... tell them that you believe it to be stolen and ask if they can get a read on where it is located. They have a tracking device within the phone. If it is turned on, they will be able to locate it. Also, if it is on, you can ask them if there has been any recent activity on the phone and if so, can they give you the last number called.

Do you have any friends who see her and would be willing to watch out for your phone? Finally, I know you said it was on the table, but every now and then, the last place you think will turn out to be not the last place! Check all your jackets, your purse, backpack and parents cars.

Good luck in your search!

Its your belongings, let you parents know so they can help you find a proper way to approach you friend and her family to find out where your phone is. If she hasnt done anything wrong then she shouldnt hesitate to tell you that. Dont get angry with her, stay clam whn you do speak to her though the best thing is to have a grown up there with you because they can see straight past the lies if there is any.

First things first. Call your phone company, give them the IMEI number of the phone and they'll block it so it'll be no use to her, even if she tries to use it on another network.

Second, I'd advise you to cut your losses now and no longer have her as a friend, especially if you feel you can't trust her. It's only a phone and you can get another one. Just like you can get another friend. Someone you can trust.

have u called your phone? try that. maybe throw it out to her that you cant find your phone ANYWHERE and if someone stole it that you plan to call the police, see if she says anything or if it shows up. also, you might want to call your service provider and get it temporarily turned off..ask if any calls have been made, etc.
