I think polygamy is limited to one person at the time not one person in a life time exactly, because what make us become polygamy is the feeling brought us by love, when the love is gone, our natural instinct is to feed the feeling by searching another resource of love, on our case, a new lover.

Polygamous? Nature didn't make us that way. Custums did that. Religious beliefs did that. Polygamy is more than one wife for that matter. I think you mean Monogamous. That means one lover or spouse. I'm not sure of the spelling and all.

God did not make us polygamous. Mankind, out of his sinful nature, decided that this was proper. The New Testament clearly teaches monogamous relationships.
