well, at the age of 27, i think every guy shud start earning and move about the stability of his career and yes, u can study along side too, there are many universities that offern distance learning courses on law, so i don't think it's a problem rather.

It's true that it's difficult to continue two things simultaneoulsy, study as well as job, but your mom is also right in her place as she wants to see her son stabilized. so i think it wud be best that u continue with ur trading and start ur studies side by side.

ALL THE LUCK!!!!

You absolutely should.

Where I went to college there was lots of older students in the classes - maany were changing careers like yourself. Many were well over 30 when they graduated.

They were the 1st to be hired when they graduated. Employers likes that they had a bit more worldly experience and a lot more maturity and rightly so.

i would recommend starting soon. It is a physiological fact that the younger you are, the easier it is to learn new things. It is not a huge rush - there is no drop off point but rather a small steady decline - but there is a decline.

If you cut back, it really doesn't take a lot of money to live on for a short period of time. You shouldn't have any problems either finding a part time job and/or periodically taking off a semester to work. You can even get 2 part time jobs - 1 which pays most of the bills, the other because it is a job that requires little attention allowing you to study while you work (like night shift security).

You can study anytime you feel like. If you really want to study law see if you can get a part time job in a law office and study when your not working.

If you think 27 is too late to study now when would you like to study, when your 65?

Remember you should consider finding some income yet when your studying, unless law school is that demanding in homework.

There is no right time for studying, it depends on self interest. In your question u have not told that whether you are still in trading or not, if you are in trading i think you are earning something. Your mother is more worried about you future, she want to see you as a person earning at a stable rate, if this is the concern, convince your mother by earning at a stable rate and do your law course. I wish you all success.

Any time is a good time to study. That is if you have the financial resources.

you're almost never too old to go back to school. i've got several people in my classes that are in their 40's. if law is what you want to do, then go for it. you've got nothing to loose. tell your mom times have changed.
