If you send somebody a text mesage would you say "I have text them" or "I have texted them"?

If you go with the modern use of the word text as a verb, as well as a noun, then you would say "I have texted them" - the ed being the past tense of the verb to text. If you are being very correct, you would say "I have sent a text message". The one which is definitely wrong is "I have text them" - because you are using the noun as a misspelled word/soundalike for the past tense of the verb - texted

'i have sent somebody a text message". in this context, text together with message is a noun and not used as a verb. but if you ssaid ' i will text you' and you truelly did and wanted to inform the person, you would say, 'i texted you' because there, you are using it as a verb.
please take note that only verbs demand us to use the present, past and future in grammar. that does not affect nouns.

For most words where you may add -ing you may also add -ed. It shows a proper differential of the past and present. Text was once a noun rather than dual purposed for noun and verb. Today, it is indeed both. For such a reason, the past present and future tenses are valid for the verb version.

I Have texted them or Ive texted them, normally i would say i have sent them a msg.

It wold certainly not be texted. I don't believe that it would be proper English, it doesn't sound right. I have sent them a text message.
