Do not say yes.if he does not understand the value of Rakhi and your feeling as a sister there is no point of you Continuing the friendship.
Do not feel bad.
Because there is no point of your encouraging him as you only think of him as brother.If you continue the friendship he will have wrong Hopes that some day you may feel something towards him. And if your feelings do not change to words him then he will get more Hurt and in turn you both may lose the Respect that you have for each other.

Hi AJ,
Sorry but can i ask one question whose idea was it to tie the rakhee?
If it was yours than he never in the 1st place was ready to tie it he always saw you in a different manner.
If it was his idea than you can ask him that what made him change his feelings towards you. Since it was he whose idea it was to become your brother in the first place.
See he is going to feel bad either ways. But you have to tell him anyways how you feel about this. Tell him nicely that you have never seen him as a lover and even if you want to its not possible now since you see him as a brother. Then its his call dear... if he still continues asking you out than you should break all your contacts with him.

hey sorry to here that.... but you do need to talk to him. Tell him that remember that day i tied rakhi on you and since that day i think of you as my brother... Try to keep the same relationship with ur bro as before, its going to be hard...
Me and my cousin were very close as in best friends... My mom and his mom thought something was going on between us and had "da talk" with us and since that day I never ever had that relationship with him ever again... Its been about 5 to 6 years that I had talked to him... Girl I feel you... you don't want to mess up ur relationship with ur bro, I never talk to my cousin about that subject so i think that the reson i don't talk to him.... So I think u should talk to ur bro...
