I do not think it is, but I hear my English teacher say it a lot. I did not think it was proper English, and that it ain't actually a real word, but I could be wrong about this.

I think this is the reason Kentucky has a bad reputation when it comes to intelligence.

"ain't" isn't proper English - but it is a real word (as is the term like bling bling). Spoken English and written English are different - it sounds like your just a kid who likes to act like a wise guy - lol

Good Luck!!!

It is a Southern term for you all. Oh, by the way we do
have intelligence here in Kentucky.

In the south it is!
There "y'all" can be SINGULAR as well as plural, although I've most often heard it used to refer to more than one person.
A variation is "youse" (heard in New York City and parts of Ontario, Canada) as second person plural of you.
Ain't may be in the dictionary (where y'all is not) but that contraction is probably more universally considered bad English than y'all.

Ozzy's use slang words all the time...it is not because we are not an intelligent person, it is because sometimes it is fun to abbreviate itelligent english...(it's sorta cool to use slang right now, so go you Kentuckians...)...let ya hair down !!..

The contraction of "you all" means "all of you". It is a colloquialism, speech common to an area, accepted as real by the locals.

No it is an uninformed contraction of you + all. This is bad grammar when not contracted.
